About The Program

CORRESPONDENCE COURSE - 125 CEU’s available for Massage Therapists
      The home study course is a 125 hour correspondence course which includes the history, integration, and basic therapeutic practices of herbs, homeopathy, and flower essences. 48 featured plants/flowers will be studied and the practical use of each plant as an herb, homeopathic remedy, and as a flower essence will be taught giving emphasis to the “whole plant” concept.

      This course also features an in depth historical perspective of the chakras. Students will learn about the relationship between the chakras and color in healing with plants and flower essences. This will enhance the student’s perspective of the human energy system, and will demonstrate how to work with the chakras in healing modalities.

      The Correspondence Course is presented through 15 written lessons, one mid-term and a final examination. Students will be required to participate in flower essence provings and to keep a proving diary for selected essences.

EXPERIENTIAL PROGRAM - 75 CEU’s available for Massage Therapists
      The experiential program includes 50 hours of hands on experience in the classroom or in nature, 20 hours in the field, and 5 hours in the lab. Students will experience hands on participation of healing work with the chakras and the integration of plants/flower essences in the classroom or in nature. Students will also learn both practical and intuitive approaches in how to use flower essences with self and others.

      In nature settings, students will learn a step by step procedure in how to make a flower essence, how to gather and collect plant data, identification of the plant’s Doctrine of Signatures, how to journey with a plant, and how to prepare and use flower essences.

      As a follow-up in nature, students will then participate in the laboratory. This will enhance their knowledge of making mother essence tinctures, stock bottles, and distribution. Health and safety issues will also be demonstrated.

      The course is presented through written lessons, test papers, a mid-term and a final examination, and a hands on evaluation.

DATES FOR THE EXPERIENTIAL PROGRAM
      There are two 4-day sessions for the Experiential portion of the program offered in the Verde Valley of Arizona. You will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the Experiential Program. You are, however, required to attend both designated sessions and complete all assignments given in the Experiential portion of the program to receive a certificate of completion.

PROGRAM SUMMARY ~ Save $100.00
      The cost for the complete course is $1985.00. If you make a full payment for the course, the cost is $1885.00. This includes a Student Packet which consists of hand outs, required texts including Rhonda’s book The Healing Power of Flowers, and 48 1/2 oz. featured Flower Essences which are studied throughout the course, and other materials listed in the Experiential Program.

      Participants also have a choice to take either the Correspondence Course or the Experiential Program as separate classes, however, both must be completed to receive certification as a flower essence practitioner.

PROGRAM COST BREAK DOWN
      The cost of the Correspondence Course which includes the student packet (above) is $995.00. The cost of the Experiential Program is as follows:
Plan 1 ~ Sessions One and Two: $990.00 which includes tuition ($830.00) and the Experiential Program student packet ($160.00).
Plan 2 ~ Session One Only: $575 which includes the following:

• Plants of Arizona
• Living Flower Essences Chakra Healing Kit of 7 essences
• Flower Essence and Chakra Healing Program Workbook
• Botany in a Day

            ~ Session Two: $415.00 Tuition Only (no other purchases required, you must bring the above items received in Session One).
A deposit of $100.00 (non-refundable) is required for the Experiential Program.

HOW TO BEGIN
      We will process your application and acceptance into the program. When you have paid for the course and/or worked out a payment plan with us, your student packet containing a course manual, The Complete Book of Flower Essences (or the same book with a new title: The Healing Power of Flowers) and your 48 Flower Essences will be mailed to you.

      The lessons will include homework assignments that you will complete and return directly to the Center for Plant Studies and Healing Arts where the staff will then grade your homework and return a copy to you. You may work at your own pace. The duration of the course depends on your personal circumstances and your own personal motivation. It is recommended that you set aside a structured time each week to study for the course.

      If you begin with the Experiential Program week, your materials will be given to you on the first day.
