About
Rhonda PallasDowney
Rhonda has been a lover of the wonderment of Nature and the Plant Kingdom since she was a child. Flowers and plants stirred her passion for living. She began to learn the use of plants and herbs in her late 20’s through early 30’s by living among the plants in a variety of rural nature settings. By learning the ways of nature, plants, and survival, she became to know herself better.
Rhonda’s relationship with nature was transformed into a passion for plant studies. By the mid 1980’s she became so immersed in studying southwestern plants and wildflowers that she would spend days at a time communing with nature and gathering plant spirit medicine or plant wisdom.
Rhonda met herbalist and author Matthew Wood in 1986, and became a student of Matthew’s for years to come. Rhonda’s expertise of the Plant Kingdom continued to grow, and her understanding of the “whole plant” concept synergized with her understanding and integration of the “whole person”. She became immersed in studying the human energy system and began exploring the integration of herbalism, homeopathy, and flower essences as whole plant medicine.
Her ability and expertise to demonstrate the similarities and differences, and how to integrate these three areas is unique. Rhonda’s research and study is based on her years of experience, her understanding of the plant kingdom, the whole plant concept, case studies, and flower essence provings.
